Collecting rent on your rental investment property is another service that is provided by our property management team.
We will collect the rent from your tenants, and deposit into your account or send you the funds.
Tenants are more likely to pay a professional property management company who has no emotional attachment to them rather than an owner who they sometimes try to manipulate or ask for extension due to hardships. We are always polite, but maintain a professional relation with your tenants to ensure there is no emotion, and let them know it’s a business dealing.
If the tenant is late, we add a late fee (as per the lease) to the amount they owe. If the rent payment is not made within the allotted time frame provided in the lease, we start with the eviction process.
Our rent collection system is set-up to accept direct deposits, this way the tenant can not claim they sent the check but it was lost in the mail. Once the funds have cleared our account, you receive your rent.
You bough a rental property to gain from the rental payments. As hard as it is to evict a family, it’s not personal, it’s business.
