Need a Short Sale team? Or Looking to Buy a Short Sale?
As the Florida foreclosure rates hit record levels, more home owners are turning to short sales as a way to avoid foreclosure. OCS Realty, llc. can process the documents with your mortgage lender FREE* of charge to the homeowner.
This process is an option that most homeowners prefer, rather than signing away ownership in a manner that destroys credit, embarrasses the family and strips an owner of dignity. When we start the process of short selling your house, it looks like just another residential real estate sale.
What is a Real Estate Short Sale?
Basically this is the process of selling your house for less than what is owed to the lender or lien holders. This is generally achieved during a series of negotiations with the lender or lien holder.
Reasons for a Short Sale
- There are several reason for short selling your house, most homeowners are either over-leveraged or underwater. This means that you owe more for the property than it’s current market value.
- You are behind on payments, can’t afford to make the payments on the house anymore, and want to avoid the damage to your credit that a foreclosure causes.
