The Days before closing on your home can be stressful, but we will make sure you stay informed and have all the information necessary to feel comfortable.
Days before the closing, and when it is available we will forward your the HUD1 settlement document for your review. Here you will see where all the funds are being disbursed and how. This paperwork will also reveal how much, if any, funds you will need to bring to closing.
The final walk-through is normally performed the day of, or a day before the closing. This is an important part of the closing, as we will need to verify that all (if any were required) repairs were conducted properly, make sure that no new damage has occurred to the home, and most importantly that the seller has moved out and removed all their belongings.
Making sure the seller has moved is very important. If they have not and you close on the home, you might have to evict them afterwards!
But don’t worry, that is the reason why you have our professional services at your disposal. We will ensure you stay informed and feel comfortable about your home purchase.
